Commissioned research
We do not run a free research desk. When a question is worth original work, we take it on as a commissioned engagement: private, scoped to your question, under the same method we publish in the open. You get the finding with the failure boundary stated, including the part you would rather not hear.
How it works
- 1
Reach out
Send the question in a few sentences. If it is a fit, we say so. If it is not, we tell you, and point you to someone better positioned for it.
- 2
NDA
A mutual NDA so you can share the real context and we can talk specifics. What you tell us stays private; only what you approve is ever made public.
- 3
Discovery
We sharpen the question into one a real answer can settle, then agree the method, the sources, the deliverable, and what would count as a negative result. You approve the plan before any work starts.
- 4
The work
We run it under the spine we publish: question, method, result, analysis. Negative and inconclusive results are reported, not buried.
- 5
The deliverable
The finding, the evidence behind it, and a stated "Where this breaks": what it does not support and who it does not apply to. The honest call, in writing.
